Big picture update

It has been a long time since I've posted some new pictures here so tonight I pushed out pictures from December 2007 through May 2008. There were a few nice June pictures, but I decided to save them for next time.

Introducing Landon Xavier Nyveldt

On 11/30/2007, Landon Xavier Nyveldt officially joined the Nyveldt clan. He was 8 lbs and 19.5 inches at birth. He has been a very happy and sleepy fellow over the past few days.

Mom and baby are doing very well. We came home last night and were re-united with Betsy, Jack, and Bria. The kids are thrilled with their new baby brother.

I've posted a bunch of pictures to the private section. If you need the password, send us an email and we'll send it off to you. (I've also updated the pictures from late summer through today.)

I had thought I had already done this and went to look at them today to find they were never posted.

Anyway, a nice selection of pictures were posted including some from our trip to Lake Tobias. As usual, all pictures were posted in the private area.

We got some pictures from June posted tonight. Included are a few brief shots of the upstairs of our house which we moved into in June. The rooms are not really done, but they are close enough. We've moved in to them as we rented out the apartment (where we had been living.)

As usual, all pictures were placed in the private folders. If you'd like the password, just ask.

Better late than never

This is a pathetic update. Very late and very few pictures to post. We've been really busy with work on and around the house, but have not pictures to show for it. We don't have many pictures for June yet either. Hopefully, we'll get a bunch of good ones this week.

I just loaded up the April 2007 photos. It was a very small batch this time around. Hopefully, we'll get more in the coming months.

Spring has arrived! With a new month here, I posted out some interesting pictures from March 2007. All were posted to the private photo area.

It is an interesting group of images. One week the kids were playing outside barefoot. The next week we built a snowman. Followed by a return to enjoying warmer weather. The kids are definitely pleased to have warm weather arrive.

February pictures added

24 stunningly beautiful pictures from February were added to the Private Photos. Ok, that might be a bit of an exaggeration, but there are 24 pictures anyway.

Also, I moved the web hosting to a different provider and the loading time seems much improved.

January Update

I just added a bunch of pictures for January, both in the public and private galleries.

In the public area, I have some pictures of the new lambs born in January. This year all the lambs came within 2 weeks and we have 7 little ones out in the barn with their moms.

In the private area, I have pictures of the kids in their activities including our trip to the farm show.

Major Web Site Update

It was beyond time to make a major web site change and I finally got around to it over my vacation between Christmas and New Year.

The previous version of this site had a ton of issues. Hopefully, this version will have less. The biggest improvement is the updates to the security and photo galleries. Access to the photo galleries should be fine now. It requires a simple password to view our family photos and nothing more. (Contact us if you need it.)

In addition to the coding updates, I made a design change as Shelah and I were never very happy with the gray site of old. The new design is cleaner and hopefully you will enjoy it as well.

Lastly, since I was in an updating mood, I added pictures (mainly in the private galleries) for every month of 2006. There is plenty of new picture viewing if you are interested.
